*ALMIGHTY *

You command the storm to calm,

You have sealed the roaring lion's mouth

Cause You're with us, there's no fire that can burn us,

There's no wave too vast that you can't divide.

PRE CHORUS

Cause what You say will always come to pass

Lord we kneel in awe of your great love

CHORUS

Almighty, You're holy, eternal, unchangeable God

You're perfect, You're faithful, all creations surrender because You say so.

STANZA

You sent Your Son, for we were lost,

And on that cross Jesus erased our sin

Now He dwell in us,

So we could grasp

How wide, how long , how high, how deep is Your love

(Ephesians 3:18)

PRE CHORUS

Cause what You say will always come to pass

Lord we kneel in awe of your great might

BRIDGE

HOLY5X is the God almighty

(Revelations 4:8)

The mountains quake before you, the hills will melt away, and in Your presence we will tremble and so all the earth.

(Nahum 1:5)

Heaven and earth will pass away but your Words remain the same

(Matthew 24 : 35)

The alpha and omega, the God of everything (or of all the earth)

CHORUS

Almighty, You're holy, eternal, unchangeable God

You're perfect, You're faithful, all creations surrender because You say so. (2X)

*SEARCH ME, O GOD*

Search me, O God, know my anxious thoughts. (Psalm 139:23-24)

Show me your ways, you gave me this life by your grace. (2 Timothy 1:9)

Pre-Chorus

Lord you are great (Psalm 86:10)

And awesome is your name! (Psalm 99:3)

Chorus:

If I go up to the heavens

You are there

If I make my bed in the depths

You are there

If I rise on wings of dawn

If I settle on the far side of the sea

You are there

Where Your hand will guide me. (Psalm 139:8-10)

Jesus the truth, the way, the life. (John14:6)

The perfect sacrifice (Hebrews 9:14)

He took our sorrows, sins and our shame

Only by His blood they are taken away

Pre-Chorus

Lord you are great

Holy is Your Name!

Bridge

Who knows the mind of the Lord? (1 Corinthians 2:16)

Who speaks and it is done.

Who fills the heavens and the earth? (Jeremiah 23:24)

Only God the Holy one.

Search me, O God

And know this very heart

Show me your ways

Help me live this life for your name

TESTIMONIES

RINA LIRIO
UCC member

I grew up believing in God. I know He created me but that was all head knowledge and I was guilty of not treating Him as my God. I thought when I go to church, when I pray, when I do good works, that’s me doing my part in this creation but I did not realise that I was being “religious” and not really having a genuine relationship with Him.

All my life I was living within worldly standards. How I should act, how I should plan my life - I thought life was like a factory. You are born, you study, get a job, buy a house, build your own family, retire and die. I lived not caring about what will happen me after this life because I thought that if I’m kind and do good works, I will be going to heaven after. I thought God was like a genie who I could ask anything. In most cases, I don’t even thank Him when He gives me what I was praying for. I made a version of Him that fits my life.

My goal was to be a good daughter, student, friend but never in my mind have I considered being a good representation of God.

And so I loved my life, I was achieving my goals.

I went to the UK, with my only goal which is to work and save money then go to Australia, I have always believed I’m in the right path, I’ve made the right plans. I control my life. I was a lover of money putting my security in it. I lived a life of comfort. I only think about myself because I was used to people doing things for me.

I was okay until I saw how sinful I am infront of a Holy God. I thought I was a good person, I don’t kill, I don’t swear, I do good in school but I was wrong. I’m far from being good in God’s definition and in the Bible it says that one sin is enough to send us to hell. So I realised I was bound to hell and in need of a saviour- Jesus Christ.

When God saved us, He did not only save us from His wrath but from living an ungodly life.
And so I began my journey in knowing Him. I thought I knew Jesus from the books and from school. But little did I know that He was way more than that. I repented from my sins and prayed for a desire to seek Him more.

I sought Him first and He become my first love. Once you fully surrender yourself to God, everything else will follow. My life afterwards did not become perfect but I was at peace and happy - with me is the joy that comes from Jesus.

I was complete in Christ - not knowing that He has better plans for me than I have for myself. God gave me a beautiful blessing of having someone to serve Him with and now, we are engaged and will soon be married this year by God’s grace.
My fiancé is someone who continually seeks God, I do too - then God gave us to each other. But this is not about our relationship but God who works in us.

Unsolicited advice: Ladies, go for a man whose first love is God for he will love you more than you could ever imagine. My fiancé’s gift to me when we were still friends was a study Bible and he prayed for me to get to know the Lord more than anything. A man who brings you closer to God is indeed a godly man.

For the gentlemen, before pursuing a lady, pray that you both will become the man and woman of God’s design so that you will both be ready for each other.
The world shows us a lot what relationship goals should look like - men giving out extravagant gifts, holding hands, travelling together. But I tell you, the real relationship goal is serving God together.
This is not about us but only about God who deserves all the glory. The only thing we can boast about in this world is Jesus Christ.

We were never created to be defeated, depressed, ashamed, unloved but we were created to be victorious in Christ and represent Him well in this world. Love what He loves and hate what He hates.
I still do not hold what the future holds for me but one thing I’m sure of, God holds my future.
Love God. Seek Him first and you’ll be complete. Then out of that love you will be able to serve others.
Following Jesus is the best decision I have ever made.

We only have one life. Make it count and live it for the Lord.
Galatians 2:20 New King James Version (NKJV)
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
